Red light on detach button is on

The detach button is showing a red light and my surface book is refusing to come on. Will sow the welcome page but will not allow me to go further to sign in. I’ve plugged it in for an hour but still showing red light. Any ideas?
August 24, 2018 at 11:22 am #2319There should be an app or game is using your Surface Book’s dGPU. Anyway, by default, your Surface Book should popup a message to show you what specific app or game that is using the dGPU.
You need to close that app or game in order to detach the screen from the base. You can also restart your Surface Book to make sure there is no app or game is running on dGPU.
