Surface Book 2 Video Editing Review

The Western Gents United YouTube channel has released another Surface Book 2 video. It’s a comparison between Surface Book 2 vs MacBook Pro vs. XPS 15 vs. Alienware 13 on video editing performance using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 software. Here is the result of 4K rendering of 5m 14s video footages:
- Alienware 13 with 6GB GTX 1060 => 11m 37s
- XPS 15 with 4GB GTX 1050 => 13m 45s
- MacBook Pro 15 with 4GB AMD 560 => 25m 01s
- Surface Book 2 13 with 2GB GTX 1050 => 26m 07s
- MacBook Pro 13 with Intel HD => 58m 27s
It’s really interested performance compared between Surface Book 2 13 vs MacBook Pro 15. Surface Book 2 13 have lower TDP with smaller video graphics memory, however the result is almost the same to the MacBook Pro 15.
